Given that we service large commercial companies, we understand how important it is that we observe a strict health and safety regime. Ultimately, the most important part of what we do is to ensure the safety of our customers and our own staff, and we make this a top priority. We are compliant with the new Health & Safety Reform Act 2015.

Our Health and Safety Coordinator

Jim Rafferty is the Health and Safety consultant for both North Shore Glass and Emergency Glass, he arranges all the training and compliance of all our glazing experts and subcontractors in Auckland and New Zealand. Jim has the experience and the know-how to ensure our workers complete the work safely, and are educated to the industry standard. Read more about Jim under the team section.

Our policy

At Emergency Glass Services, we have a comprehensive up to date health and safety policy and have attained ACC Tertiary level. Our glazing team in Auckland, our night emergency staff and our sub-contractors New Zealand wide are all Site Safe certified. They have all undergone site induction training for various sites with specific health and safety regulations, and we do the training from our Auckland office. The company also takes measures to ensure our records are maintained and we provide our team members with ongoing training.
